UPPCL's Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and related Escrow Cover Agreement with Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited (JPVL). . The documents indicates the basis on which cost of power purchase has been computed for 400 MW Vishnu Prayag Hydro-electric Project being set up in District Chamoli, Uttaranchal State. The Escrow Agreement envisages grant of Escrow cover based on the revenues accruing to UPPCL from certain specified Electricity Distribution Circles (EDC) of Kanpur, Agra and Sultanpur.
